About the owner

Sara Brueske KPA-CTP has been training dogs since she was just 11 years old. Falling in love with watching dogs play dog sports like frisbee and agility, Sara knew she wanted to pursue dog training as a career from an early age. She began that career teaching classes at PetSmart and then On The Run Canine Center in Ham Lake, MN. When not teaching others how to train their dogs, Sara was training and competing with her own dogs in a variety of sports focusing mostly on Canine Freestyle Disc and agility.

In 2014, an opportunity of a lifetime presented itself when Sara was offered a job as a performing dog trainer for Purina. Sara and her husband moved to Missouri for the next 8 years for this career opportunity. During that time, Sara and her team of dogs would perform daily at Purina Farms with the goal of encouraging others to play with their dogs. They also appeared on TV for commercials and news segments, played at professional and college level half-time shows as well as multiple state fair and festivals.

Sara continues to compete with her dogs, winning many titles in agility, dock diving, nosework, protection sports and multiple world champion titles in disc. During this time, Sara also continued her passion of helping rescue dogs find their forever homes by fostering as well as launching the Adoptable Pets program at Purina Farms.

Sara also traveled both internationally and domestically to teach dog training seminars and conferences. She is excited to continue to teach people how best to communicate and better the bond between themselves and the dogs in their lives and to create a home-base here in Cambridge, MN.
